Job Description:
A new opportunity for a Construction Project Manager to join our team at the Columbus, Ohio project site. This role will support construction activities at the site and contribute to the delivery of energy-saving solutions for our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee daily construction, administrative, and technical management of mechanical construction projects, ensuring energy savings for public, institutional, government, and commercial customers.
· Support the Senior Project Manager with project scheduling, progress tracking, quality management reporting, and internal communications.
· Serve as the primary contact for customers, managing customer service, relationships, and contractual obligations.
· Assist the Senior Project Manager in managing vendors and subcontractors, ensuring quality control and timely, on-budget project delivery that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
· Maintain and update project schedules to reflect current information, monitor critical path activities, and track outstanding items.
· Prepare a detailed two-week look-ahead schedule to facilitate customer coordination and planning.
· Help the Senior Project Manager with scheduling and managing special inspections as well as AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) inspections.
· Ensure adherence to company, industry, customer, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes.
· Travel as required to support project needs.
· Perform other duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
· Three to five years of project management experience.
· Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
· Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Procore.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
· Strong organizational skills, proactive approach, and proven experience in OSHA compliance.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proper grammar and professional writing abilities.
· Active listening skills and the ability to communicate professionally, openly, and positively.
· Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
