Job Description
- Oversees day to day HVAC operations of building facilities.
- Maintain and operate HVAC systems: 1400 tons comfort cooling & 3 million BTU heating plant.
- Maintain and upkeep of 900-ton ice plant and all functions relating to ice floor.
- Maintain sub-refrigeration equipment (Food and Beverage equipment).
- Oversee all electrical projects.
- Maintain transformation equipment.
- Upkeep and maintain Super Trooper II.
- Repair and maintain emergency power generator equipment and all associated safety lighting.
- Monitor outside Contractors.
- Coordinate cell site planning and implementation.
- Verify permits for contractors within the facility.
- Serve as building liaison with utility companies.
- Maintain and service fire suppression system.
- Service and maintain early warning smoke detection system.
- Coordinate pyrotechnics implementation and compliance.
- Interface with city and county emergency personnel.
- Assist government agency field officers with mechanical requirements within the facility.
- Evaluate and coordinate utility needs for productions.
- Coordinate communications requirements: Wi-Fi, High-speed Internet, Phone Service & Clear-Com System.
- Back-up for on-site event management in the absence of event manager.
- Acquire specialty gases for incoming productions.
- Work with audio and lighting show personnel to interface with house system as needed.
- Provide all exterior docking (shore) power.
- Provide connection to portable power equipment if needed for lot events.
- Work as house electrician for incoming productions.
- Provide HVAC/R tech services.
- Serve as environmental technician to house and production personnel.
- Provide direction and guidance for cub electrician.
- Work as part of two-man team for projects as needed.
- Determine and prioritize facility maintenance requirements.
- Specify facility needs for budgetary consideration.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Position is not eligible for telecommuting.
- Requires a high school education or equivalent with additional vocational training in related field.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of and at least five (5) years hands on experience in the HVAC field.
- Must demonstrate a solid working knowledge of a building mechanical systems including but not limited to; ice plant system, HVAC, lighting systems and fire control panels.
- Duties will also include various plumbing and electrical work.
