St Julien Hotel & Spa is looking for a passionate Hair Stylist to join our talented Salon team in providing services such as haircuts, coloring, and styling while ensuring that all guests have enjoyed a satisfying and relaxing visit to the Spa.
Essential Job Functions:
- Review and complete all opening/closing procedures and daily individual responsibilities.
- Consult with each guest to gain information about their desired final look and style preferences (length of hair, layers, color, etc.).
- Perform all services in accordance with current established protocol.
- Ensure that service is timed properly so that guest can be on time to other Spa/Salon treatment(s).
- Possess excellent knowledge of hair products in order to make informed and appropriate recommendations to guests.
- Possesses excellent knowledge of St Julien Hotel & Spa to be able to answer guest inquiries.
- Clean station and shampoo bowl after each appointment; keep area stocked and prepared for the next stylist and/or service.
- Perform according to company objectives regarding sales, and work to build customer retention and repeat client requests.
- Report directly to Lead Hair Stylist.
- Other duties as requested by manager.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience required. Previous experience working in a luxury spa highly preferred.
- Must have flexible availability and be able to work weekends and holidays.
