Overview
Aventura Dental Excellence is now hiring an energetic and personable Full Time Dental Assistant in Aventura, Florida.
As a Dental Assistant, come join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals.
Dental Assistant Schedule:
Monday 9 AM–12:30pm
Tuesday 7:30 AM–5 PM
Wednesday 9:30 AM–7 PM
Thursday 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Friday 8:30 AM–2 PM
*One Saturday per month 8am-2pm

Responsibilities
- Assist the Dentists chairside
- Welcomes patients
- Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
- Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
- Instrument sterilization according to regulations
- Maintains accurate patient records
- Lab tasks as instructed
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Maintain clean and stocked operatories
Qualifications
- Active Florida dental assistant license required
- Dental Assistant training/school certification
- 2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience required
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Experience with digital software
- Excellent interpersonal skills
