As a member of the Insurance Enrollment team, the position assists participating employer Benefit Administrators in the processing of insurance enrollment for employees. Job responsibilities include:
- Process enrollments and all requested changes for active, retiree, COBRA and survivor subscribers. Accurately reject enrollments and manage pending cases to ensure timely and efficient processing and access to coverage.
- Review and verify subscriber eligibility issues. Research and maintain thorough knowledge of insurance eligibility rules.
- Investigate subscriber files and coordinate with third party administrators to resolve enrollment problems. Alert management of problems concerning carrier updates or system issues.
- Participate in process improvement efforts.
