We have an amazing opportunity for you to utilize your cooking experience in our kitchen at Eastern State Hospital (ESH) located in Medical Lake.
Some of what you will do:
- Preparation/cooking of all food per dietary guidelines using proper equipment
- Ensure the proper amount of food is prepared and Food Service Workers are instructed in correct serving sizes
- Provide assistance to Food Service Workers in therapeutic dietary needs and communicate menu needs
- Other duties as assigned
Who should apply?
One year experience in food preparation or cooking; completion of course in large scale cooking may be substituted for experience
Desired:
- Knowledge of practices, methods, and procedures of large-scale food preparation and cooking
- Ability to establish work methods and instruct others in routine kitchen work; maintain cooperative working relationships with others
- Follow written and oral instructions
