We have an amazing opportunity for you to utilize your cooking experience in our kitchen at Eastern State Hospital (ESH)  located in Medical Lake.

Some of what you will do:

• Preparation/cooking of all food per dietary guidelines using proper equipment
• Ensure the proper amount of food is prepared and Food Service Workers are instructed in correct serving sizes
• Provide assistance to Food Service Workers in therapeutic dietary needs and communicate menu needs
• Other duties as assigned

Who should apply?
One year experience in food preparation or cooking; completion of course in large scale cooking may be substituted for experience

Desired:

• Knowledge of practices, methods, and procedures of large-scale food preparation and cooking
• Ability to establish work methods and instruct others in routine kitchen work; maintain cooperative working relationships with others
• Follow written and oral instructions
