SABG is hiring an Operations Support Analyst (Advanced)- Army Service Cell to support Warfighter Operational Integration work with the Missile Defense Agency.
JOB TITLE: Operations Support Analyst (Advanced)- Army Service Cell
CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
LOCATION: Ft. Belvoir, VA
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. Ideal candidates will have experience in the management and program analysis field relating to: military operational concepts/capabilities; integration and fielding of complex weapon systems; conducting strategic high-level coordination activities; deliberate planning; test support; problem solving and working independently. Specific duties include:
• Demonstrate the requisite knowledge of Service and Combatant Command operations, Warfighting doctrine, and the Warfighting Acquisition System necessary to analyze issues and provide recommend solutions.
• Quickly develop thoroughly researched and succinctly worded talking points, point papers, and Power Point briefs/presentations to support MDA Director engagements with Army senior leaders, Congress, and outside organizations to inform future decisions.
• Support DW in its role as executive secretariat for Board of Director (BoD) meetings/Senior Leader Forums with the Army.
• Conduct detailed mission analysis providing a clear synopsis of the situation under discussion for leadership decisions. Provide multiple courses of action for leadership selection.
SUPERVISION: This position has no supervisory responsibilities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of the team and assists with solving complex problems. Advanced level working knowledge, skills, and abilities using Microsoft Office. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Master’s degree or higher (Bachelors degree may be substituted with an additional 5 years experience)
• 10 years experience in coordinating with Combatant Command, Service Headquarters, Joint Staff, or DoD Agency (MDA, DITRA, DARPA, etc.)
• 6 years experience must be in the missile defense industry
• Army experience is required
COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
• Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on data.
