What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rental Technician position at Sun Valley Resort?
The Sun Valley Pete Lane's Rental Technicians assist guests with ski and snowboard rentals at our shops at the three Sun Valley Resort base areas. They help with the proper fitting of equipment and finalizing rental agreements. Part-time morning shifts are available, as well as peak-season shifts
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Adjust skis/snowboards to suit the customers’ needs
- Work with customers to ensure they have the right equipment for their ability
- Maintain a steady, efficient flow of rental items going out and being returned
- Issues skis/snowboards to customers and records time of transaction
- Receives returned skis/snowboards and examines them for abuse or breakage
- Records time equipment was returned
- Tags skis/snowboards needing repair or service
- Adjusts skis/snowboards to suit customers
- Explains the operation of skis/snowboards and the features of certain skis/snowboards
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk, use hands, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.
Qualifications:
- Be able to stand for prolonged periods
- Be able to safely move objects up to approximately 35 pounds about the workplace
