Concrete Finisher

Sunshine Enterprise USA is proud to represent a leading player in the asphalt and concrete construction industry in Central Florida seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher with curbing experience, who can expertly pour, level, and smooth concrete on a variety of surfaces including roads, sidewalks, curbs, and floors.

Requirements/Qualifications:

· To be eligible for consideration, all applicants must possess a valid Driver's License.

· 1-2 years of experience as a Concrete Finisher including expertise in placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing all concrete curb or flatwork surfaces, according to specifications.

· Skilled in smoothing, finishing freshly placed concrete, applying surface treatments, and restoring concrete surfaces.

· Capable of heavy lifting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, crouching, and reaching

· Must have good vision, stamina, hand-eye coordination, and ability to estimate size and dimensions.

· Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies.

· Able to work outdoors in dusty or dirty areas.

· Strong attention to detail and quality craftmanship.

· Relies on experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals.

· Adaptive to different personalities and management styles

· Team player with good interpersonal skills

· Dedicated and hardworking

Responsibilities:

· Execute concrete finishing tasks with precision and attention to detail.

· Use hand and power tools to shape and texture concrete surfaces according to project specifications.

· Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

· Operates a screed to level freshly placed concrete according to grade and depth specification.

· Smooth concrete surface using either a hand trowel, long handled “bull float” or powered float.

· Cut joints/grooves in concrete with edging tools to help control cracking.

· Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.

· Monitor the wind, heat and cold as it affects the curing of the concrete.
