Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and guide our financial planning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and demonstrate expertise in various accounting practices. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with regulations, managing costs, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making within the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
· Perform accounting activities, record keeping practices, to ensure conformity with government regulations, tax compliance, standard accounting practices (US GAAP and IFS GAAP)
· Oversee and supervise all general accounting functions, including chart of accounts and general ledger, cash receipts and accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, petty cash, bank reconciliation.
· Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements, including management reports to head office.
· Ensure the timely submission of all the company tax forms. Organize timely and accurate preparation of documentation pertinent to all the company tax responsibilities.
· Analyze and act with an eye toward cost effectiveness and profitability, using appropriate systems.
· Communicate with Management regarding issues that may have implications on financial and tax status.
· Prepare annual operating budget
· Reconcile general ledger and revenue accounts.
· Review financial reports to identify and explain variances.
· Follow documentation retention policies to maintain accounting files
· Prepare cash flow statements and resolve outstanding balance issues.
· Adhere to standard accounting principles and company procedures.
· Perform accounting analysis and produce reports quarterly.
· Facilitate internal and external audits.
· Work with banks and financial institutions to fufill needs for funding, investment and banking services.
· Other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, with a strong focus on cost management and regulatory reporting.
- Proficient in financial software applications and tools that enhance efficiency in financial operations.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts, including treasury management, cost accounting, and governmental accounting practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
