Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain processes, ensuring efficient inventory control, and optimizing procurement strategies. This position requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement within our supply chain operations.
- Implements sourcing plans with the goal of assuring specified quality, required delivery times and minimizing the total cost of components.
- Must speak Mandarin
- Works closely with Sourcing Manager or Sourcing Leader to achieve OKR (Objectives and Key Results).
- Performs quarterly cost down negotiations, ensuring quality and focusing on TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).
- Search and Selection supplier in US , Conducts RFQ, reviews drawings and specifications if match with Customer requirement.
- Evaluates current and prospective suppliers through supplier reviews, site visits and audits, in coordination with SQE and SDE team, to assure supply capabilities, on-time delivery, quality and service.
- Negotiates prices and terms with suppliers to meet specified quality, delivery, and cost.
- Executes and reviews Business Agreements (NDA, Purchase Agreement) and development in coordination with Sourcing Manager and Legal team.
- Drives the parts verification process, in coordination with Supplier Quality team (SQE).
- Effectively communicates with and maintains the highest degree of relations between suppliers and internal.
- Builds strong relationships with internal customers to meet defined objectives.
- Maintaining supplier relationships to ensure adherence to quality standards, delivery schedules, and cost targets.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or supply chain.
- Preferred minimum experience of 1 years up in Supply Chain / Sourcing
- Strong negotiation and communication / presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI tools
- Ability to read mechanical drawing is added advantage and knowledge in multiple commodities is added advantage
