Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse operations that ensure the smooth flow of products through our distribution center. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience with inventory management, as well as proficiency in operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Duties
- Operate tools needed to move and manage inventory safely.
- Perform order picking and packing tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Maintain an organized warehouse environment by ensuring all products are properly stored and labeled.
- Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Fabricate and build necessary materials or pallets for shipping as required.
- Engage in heavy lifting of products, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency within the distribution center.
- Proactively distribute manufacturing materials to the manufacturing floor.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with mechanical equipment and tools used in warehouse operations.
- Strong skills in inventory management practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Experience with order picking processes is a plus.
