Job Description :
This position is responsible for creating and maintaining floorplans within the Blue Yonder Floor Planning System. The Floorplan Specialist will collaborate with internal merchandising teams to ensure seamless execution of store floorplans that enhance the shopping experience. You will play a vital role in shaping spaces that align with merchandising strategies and delight customers. This role also involves participation in high-impact projects, such as store openings, remodels, and new brand launches.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and execute store floorplans that align with merchandising strategies, product assortments, and space allocation guidelines.
Design layouts for special projects, including new stores, relocations, remodels, and fixture updates.
Collaborate with leadership to create prototype store layouts that optimize space allocation and enhance customer experience.
Validate and ensure accurate planogram assignments using detailed quality control processes and reporting tools.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure floorplans meet business goals and customer expectations.
Use optimization tools and data-driven insights to maximize space productivity.
Present ideas effectively, simplifying complex concepts for easy understanding and impact.
Qualifications (Required) :
Proficiency in Blue Yonder (JDA) Floor Planning software
Top required skill
At least 2 years of experience in retail operations, space planning, or merchandising.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications (Desired) :
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, retail management, or interior design.
Familiarity with advanced space planning tools and strategies.
Working Conditions :
Typical office environment with minimal travel for store visits, prototype reviews, and related seminars.
