Associate Attorney

Personal Injury Defense Attorney | $125K-200K | National Civil Defense Practice

Our client is an established and growing litigation firm with a national civil defense practice. They're looking for a motivated attorney to join our team.

What You'll Do

• Manage personal injury defense cases from start to finish, including premises liability, auto negligence, wrongful death, and foodborne illness matters
• Work with paralegals/staff on pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and related documents
• Take and defend depositions
• Conduct legal research and shape case strategy
• Represent clients in mediations and court proceedings
• Communicate directly with insurance and corporate clients
  
  

What They're Looking For

• 5 years of personal injury experience (defense preferred)
• Established litigation background; trial experience preferred
• Excellent written & oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong research skills
• Licensed to practice law (multiple states a plus)
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney - Personal Injury Defense

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Law and specialized knowledge in Labor and Employment Law
• Experience in providing Legal Advice and conducting Legal Research
• Strong Negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in the state of Minnesota
• Prior experience in a legal setting is a plus
