Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of three years of experience who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- The ideal candidate is confident in managing all phases of litigation and is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
- Supporting attorneys with case management from intake through resolution
- Drafting litigation documents such as complaints, answers, discovery, mediation and trial briefs, and motions
- Preparing pre-trial and trial materials, including witness and exhibit lists and trial binders
- Managing discovery: drafting, responding, and coordinating
- Tracking and calendaring court deadlines; handling court filings and service of process
- Reviewing and summarizing financial, legal, and medical records
- Conducting legal research, including rule review and court procedure
- Scheduling depositions, mediations, and court reporting services
- Communicating with witnesses and opposing counsel
- Maintaining accurate timekeeping for billable and non-billable tasks
- Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience (Trust & Estate litigation preferred)
- Paralegal certificate with current CLE units (required)
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Experience handling court procedures and deadlines
- Bachelor's degree preferred
