We are seeking an Industrial Electrician in New Eagle, PA
The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for the addressing the general maintenance needs of the facilities and equipment conducive to safe and efficient manufacturing. Millwright will install, commission, dismantle, overhaul, and troubleshoot equipment using hand and power tools. Fabricate new custom components using lathe, milling machines, welding machines and grinders. Maintain clean, safe, orderly work environment. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. May be used in general utility capacity as needed. Work alone and in groups under immediate supervision.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
-Follow all standard operating procedures regarding equipment and manufacturing of product, maintain and complete all paperwork, maintain area housekeeping and safety equipment.
-Troubleshoot and resolve defective or underperforming systems or machinery. Perform preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs or rebuilds.
-Maintain electrical components, combustion systems, heating/air conditioning, power transmission equipment, belt conveyors, augers, mechanical mixers, air compressors, blowers, industrial gas burners, and dry bulk silos. Perform general mechanical repairs, plumbing and basic preventative maintenance and repairs.
-Maintain spare parts and maintenance supply inventories.
Requirements:
Knowledge: Formal electrical training (associates, apprenticeship, etc...). Min 4 yr. Industrial Maintenance Experience. Knowledge of machinery installation, maintenance and repair. Read and work from drawings, blue prints and schematics. . Proficient mechanical aptitude. Good understanding of fluid mechanics (hydraulics and pneumatics). Repair and fabrication welding and cutting skills.
Skills & Abilities:
- Troubleshoot/repair industrial electrical circuits, motors and drives
- Reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Reading ladder logic diagrams
- Working with PLCs and basic computer skills
- Troubleshoot/repair combustion circuits
- Instrumentation
- Pressure, temperature and flows
- Conduit bending/wire pulling
- Ability to complete all electrical functions according to code
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Basic metal welding skills
- Safety awareness.
