Our client is looking for Millwrights in Burgettstown, PA.- The primary role entails inspecting, repairing, replacing, installing, adjusting, and maintaining all mechanical equipment within the plant premises.
- Tools and Equipment Usage : - Utilization of various tools and equipment including drill presses, power saws, welding gear, and portable power tools, among others.
- Materials Utilized : - Usage of plant mechanical equipment, repair parts, lubricants, hardware, and miscellaneous materials.
- Conducting thorough inspections of plant equipment to identify defects and determine optimal repair methods to minimize production downtime.
- Performing dismantling, cleaning, repairing, replacing, installing, and lubricating mechanical equipment.- Ensuring proper adjustment of equipment for optimal operation.
- Undertaking pipe maintenance activities such as cutting, threading, bending, and installation.- Proficient operation of power tools and adherence to safety protocols.
- Interpretation of technical drawings for equipment maintenance and erection.- Supervising and assisting in cleanup activities post-repair or installation.
- Adding water treatment chemicals to designated units as directed.- Responsibility for maintaining adequate stock of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Occasionally performing burning or welding tasks required for maintenance work.Qualifications : - Preferred Possession of journeyman papers from an accredited program or an Associates degree in electrical technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.- Self-employment history will not be considered.- Successful completion of a written test may be required for applicants.
