We are seeking an experienced IBM Power9 iSeries (AS400) Systems Programmer to manage, maintain, and optimize our IBM i (AS400) infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with System 36 and Native Mode, be adept at system administration, disaster recovery, performance monitoring, and managing high-availability environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain IBM iSeries systems, HMC infrastructure, and perform regular PTF and firmware updates.
Monitor system health, performance, backups, and DR/replication processes.
Manage journaling, system logs (DSPLOG), disk space, subsystems, job queues, and scheduling.
Configure and support AS400 software, third-party tools, and client emulation.
Oversee user and device profiles, enforce security policies, and audit object authorities.
