Responsibilities-
- Setup and operate wood manufacturing machines.
- Ability to maintain daily expectations of a neat, clean and organized work area.
- Experience with reading and applying the information found on product prints.
- Ability to understand standard and metric units of measure with the ability to convert.
- Ability to recognize discern materials.
- Able accurately read and use a tape measure and calipers.
- Able to understand and follow work orders.
- Follow published daily production schedules.
- Ability to work extended hours to meet customer requirements.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal stationary time.
- Document actions by accurately completing the necessary paperwork.
- Recognize when the operation is not running well and seek out appropriate support.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit climb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
- The employee must lift and or move up to 75 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and mechanically inclined.
- Ability to keep focused on detail-oriented work throughout the shift.
