This role is responsible for operating slitting equipment to convert large rolls of material into finished products according to customer and production specifications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience in a manufacturing environment, and a commitment to quality and safety.Key Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and monitor slitting machines according to work orders and specificationsLoad and unload master rolls and finished product using forklifts, hoists, or roll-handling equipmentAdjust knives, spacers, tension, and guides to ensure accurate slits and quality outputInspect finished rolls for defects, dimensions, and quality standardsPerform routine machine maintenance and troubleshootingAccurately complete production paperwork and documentationFollow all safety procedures and company policiesMaintain a clean and organized work areaWork collaboratively with supervisors, quality, and production teamsQualifications:Previous slitter or machine operator experience preferredManufacturing experience requiredMechanical aptitude and ability to perform machine setupsAbility to read work orders, measurements, and specificationsBasic math and measurement skillsForklift experience a plusAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetySchedule:Full-timeMultiple shifts availableOvertime as required#TSTRATHPBy providing your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from Talent Strategy regarding your job application, interviews, and employment updates.
