Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, laws, standards, and company policies.
- Provide technical expertise to managers and supervisors for eliminating unsafe behaviors and hazards.
- Conduct periodic and unscheduled safety inspections on construction projects.
- Perform hazard analyses and develop risk assessments for project operations.
- Assist in updating and maintaining the company safety manual and procedures.
- Coordinate and deliver safety training sessions to enhance safety awareness.
- Investigate and provide technical assistance for accidents, incidents, and injuries.
- Maintain accurate accident records and assist with Workers' Compensation processes.
- Foster a team environment to promote collaborative problem-solving and safety improvements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Safety Manager.
Must-Have Skills:
- BCSP certification (CHST or STS-C) or a BSc in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising safety in construction projects, including data centers.
- OSHA 30-hour certification obtained within the past 3 years.
- Strong technical writing skills and an understanding of Workers' Compensation.
- Ability to train groups of 25-30 individuals effectively.
- Adaptability to changing work environments and the ability to work independently.
- High energy and self-motivation, with excellent collaboration skills.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Certified OSHA Outreach Trainer for the Construction Industry.
- Proficiency in Google Apps and internet navigation.
