Job Description
The Assembler is responsible for the precise
assembly of cables, subassemblies, and final assemblies, adhering to provided
drawings, work instructions, and shop floor travelers. This role demands a
solid understanding of assembly tasks and the ability to apply skills across
various assignments.
The
Assembler will utilize tools, machines, and the SAP-ME system to efficiently
complete builds, meeting CPI times and maintaining high quality with minimal
errors.
Additionally, the
Assembler may train others, perform in-process inspections, and program devices
as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 2-4 years
of experience in mechanical/electrical assembly or similar vocational
training.
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and the
MID/WIP Database.
- Proficient in using tools, machines (e.g., arbor
presses, crimping machines), and the SAP-ME system.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds, stand for extended
periods, and dexterously handle various parts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow
written and verbal instructions.
- IPC solder skills are preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen.
