About Us:

Tampa Family Health Centers, Inc. (TFHC) was founded in 1984. The concept of TFHC was the result of a ‘grass roots’ effort sought to provide health care for the poor and uninsured residents of the inner city of Tampa. The proposal grew out of the “Mode City” initiative of the early eighties.

Growing from taking care of the homeless population to taking care of the underinsured and Medicaid HMO population, we now have 18 easily accessible locations, telemedicine options and mobile medical and dental units.
