- Hybrid or Remote: Onsite
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, possible Saturday coverage
- Schedule: Full-time
- Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break from 12 PM to 1 PM
- Setting: Community Health Center
The Adult Medicine LVN will be responsible for:
- Checking and recording patients vital signs and performing phlebotomy
- Collecting and labeling laboratory specimens in accordance with laws and policies
- Administering immunizations and medications
- Assisting doctors with examinations and procedures
- Maintaining accurate patient records using the electronic health record system
- 3 years of experience in Adult Medicine within a Community Health or FQHC setting
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license, issued by the State of California
- Familiar with direct patient care methods and practices
- Current California driver s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Commitment to community health and integrity in patient care
- 5 years of experience preferred for temporary-only consideration
- Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly desirable
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented attitude
