A financial services firm in Charlotte, NC, is actively seeking a new Product Owner to join their growing team. In this role, the Product Owner will be responsible for optimizing the Salesforce platform, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***
Responsibilities:
- Create, prioritize, and maintain the Salesforce product backlog, ensuring alignment with business value and impact
- Develop clear, concise, and testable user stories that guide development efforts
- Participate in sprint planning and reviews, making tactical decisions regarding product features, priorities, and trade-offs
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the platform meets their requirements
- Analyze existing Salesforce processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and user experience
- Collaborate on integrating Salesforce with other systems, ensuring data flow and system interoperability
- Participate in the planning and execution of Salesforce releases, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption
- Develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards to track key metrics, measure platform adoption, and identify areas for improvement
- Create and maintain documentation related to Salesforce configuration, processes, and best practices
- Provide training and support to users on new features and functionality, ensuring effective utilization of the platform
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Product Ownership and Salesforce Platform
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform functionality (e.g., Service Cloud, Lightning experience)
- Experience working within an Agile framework and managing tasks within a sprint cycle
- Solid problem-solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, and/or a related field
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder)
