About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 40 per week
- Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric
- Patient Population: Adults
- Patient Volume: 10 to 12 patients daily
Responsibilities:
- The Psychiatrist will be responsible for:
- Providing psychiatric care to adult inpatients
- Managing a caseload of 10-12 patients daily
- Diagnosing and treating psychiatric illnesses
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory and facility standards
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Valid Connecticut medical license
- Proficiency in managing complex patient needs
- Strong clinical and communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Suboxone certification
