We are seeking an experienced Product Owner in the Charlotte, NC area. Reporting to the Director of the Associate Desktop for the Customer Care & Communications (C3) Team, the Salesforce Platform Product Owner optimizes the Salesforce platform, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role defines user stories, manages the product backlog, and contributes to the platform's roadmap to meet business needs, drive efficiency, and improve user experience.


Responsibilities:



  • Reporting to the Director of the Associate Desktop for the Customer Care & Communications (C3) Team, the Salesforce Platform Product Owner optimizes the Salesforce platform for Ally, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role defines user stories, manages the product backlog, and contributes to the platform's roadmap to meet business needs, drive efficiency, and improve user experience.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the Salesforce product backlog, ensuring alignment with business value and impact.

  • User Story Creation: Develop clear, concise, and testable user stories that guide development efforts.

  • Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning and reviews, making tactical decisions regarding product features, priorities, and trade-offs.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the platform meets their requirements.

  • Platform Optimization: Analyze existing Salesforce processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and user experience.

  • System Integration: Collaborate on integrating Salesforce with other systems, ensuring data flow and system interoperability.

  • Release Management: Participate in the planning and execution of Salesforce releases, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards to track key metrics, measure platform adoption, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to Salesforce configuration, processes, and best practices.

  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to users on new features and functionality, ensuring effective utilization of the platform.

  • Customer Focus: Understand the Voice of the Customer and champion the customer experience.

  • Product Performance: Understand and measure product performance, using data to inform decisions and improvements.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, information systems, or a related field preferred.

  • 3 years of experience in Product Ownership and Salesforce Platform Experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Understanding of Salesforce platform functionality (e.g., Service Cloud, Lightning Experience).

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insights.

  • Problem-solving skills to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.

  • Experience working within an Agile framework and managing tasks within a sprint cycle.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.

  • Understanding of business processes and how Salesforce can support business objectives.

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder) are preferred.
