POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Generalistis responsible for comprehensive daily HR operational and administrative support for the organization, with a primary focus on full-cycle recruitment and onboarding.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary recruiter for non-leadership positions.
- Regularly communicates with department leaders to ensure staffing needs are met.
- Posts jobs on job boards, TCA website, advertisements, reviewing & screening candidates and maintaining up to date applicant tracking.
- Assists in the coordination of interviews, including sending calendar invitations to interviewer(s) and booking rooms as needed.
- Communicates regularly and professionally with candidates throughout the candidate hiring process.
- Coordinates collection of all mandatory new hire paperwork to include, but not limited to, education, transcripts, licenses or certifications, government identification, and other required TCA paperwork.
- Prepares new hire offer letters and obtains signature from the Director of HR or CEO as required.
- Completes new hire personnel files and ensures all information is received and checklist is completed to ensure complete and accurate personnel files.
- Coordinates and leads the new hire orientation.
- Assists the Director with benefits administration as needed.
- Assists with employee questions and/or concerns and escalate as necessary.
- Communicates job offers, schedules pre-employment physicals & testing, sends background check information, and establishes orientation/start date.
- Maintains complete and accurate personnel records and files employee documentation on a timely basis.
- Provides general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms, and reports. Arranges meetings, maintains tracking records, and records meeting minutes as requested.
- Accurately enters employees into the HRIS and benefits enrollment system. Processes employment changes and terminations in the relevant HR systems.
- Assist the HR Director with handbook and policy updates as requested.
- Coordinates staff training events or programs and research resources, as needed.
- Interacts with and communicates information to employees, department heads, and/or job applicants at the direction of the CEO or HR Director.
- Participate in committees as required.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ recruitment experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, HR systems (preferably ADP Workforce), data entry, tracking, and reporting.
