Brief Overview of Position A Banker Associate III will have experience within Commercial Real Estate Banking line of business. This role will report to the Team Leader and will provide support to senior colleagues in delivering best-in-class client experiences and comprehensive financial solutions to clients across a broad array of industries. Seeking qualified candidates with a passion for a long-term career in Banking, that aspire to deliver superior client experiences, and has extraordinary levels of motivation and initiative. Responsibilities Have a deep understanding of RMs portfolio and clients. Improve technical skills in deal structuring, term sheets, and complex UWs. Complete cash flow models, BSC forms, pricing models, scorecards, and credit approvals Work with Relationship Manager to review loan documents, barrower comments, and negotiations. Attend client and prospect calls with Relationship Managers (RM) (approximately 50% of time spent), support meeting preparation, and coordinate timeline, meetings, and actions to execute and close deals. Research and generate prospect opportunities. Accurately log all activity in applicable Texas Capital systems (Salesforce, Alloscape, etc.) and utilize sales tools to develop call planning strategies. Mentor first year analysts, interns, and STARs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, etc.) or other relevant degree. 4.5 to 5.5 years of experience in Banking, Commercial Banking preferred or other relevant experience. Effective team player with ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. Exceptional writing, interpersonal and communication skills. Analytical skills - critical thinking, data and information analysis, research, and problem solving. Organizational and time management skills. Strong knowledge and application of Credit Underwriting (i.e., cash flow models, financial spreads, and credit packages). Strong knowledge of banking suite of products and services. Strong utilization of Salesforce and MS Office products including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint in order to produce reports, correspondence, and presentations High interest in outreach to, and involvement in, the communities where we live and work.
