We are seeking an intern with a desire to expand their knowledge about the practice of corporate citizenship and the impact of Texas Mutual’s Community Affairs program.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Essential Job Functions:
- Learn about Texas Mutual’s community partnerships
- Participate in the grant-making process
- Assist with tasks related to event sponsorship commitments
- Utilize online platforms that track volunteering and charitable giving
- Select and complete research projects on Community Affairs topics
- Gain an understanding of the importance of corporate citizenship
- Complete tasks and projects as assigned by the department
- Participate in division meetings and trainings, as required
- Be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
- Have an interest in non-profit relations, charitable giving, corporate communications, corporate citizenship practice, grant-making, sponsorship management and/or community partnerships
- Be available to intern on Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday during the Fall 2024 semester for up to 20 hours per week
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
