About this Position
In this role, you will provide safety expertise to policyholders, in the Corpus Christi area, through onsite visits and follow-up recommendations. Join one of the best companies to work for in Texas, reporting directly to the regional manager.Responsibilities & Qualifications
Essential Functions:
- Evaluate accounts to identify safety and customer service interventions.
- Manage an assigned book of business, directing loss prevention services at injury prevention and overall risk improvement.
- Analyze loss data and assists the policyholder to identify the root cause of employee injuries, including the development of effective plans of action to address the loss causes.
- Inspects policyholder sites to identify and evaluate risk factors and to develop recommendations to effectively control them.
- Prepare reports for underwriting purposes containing a description of operations, evaluation of exposures and controls, analysis of loss data, and an evaluation of the effectiveness of policyholder safety and training programs.
- Establish and maintains consultative relationships with policyholders, underwriting staff, and agents.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in safety, health, or related field.
- At least two years’ experience in safety and health.
- Valid Texas driver's license required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an insurance operation preferred.
- Recognized industry-related designation preferred.
- OSHA specific coursework preferred.
