Job Summary Responsible for obtaining diagnostic cardiac ultrasound images, following IACEL protocols. Must be registered by ARDMS or CCI. Assist physicians during Transesophogeal Echo’s.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound imaging using M mode, color flow Doppler, and two-dimensional mode.
- Follow imaging protocols recommended by IACEL (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission - Echocardiography).
- Assist physicians during Transesophogeal Echo procedures.
- Prioritize and organize patient flow to ensure efficient use of time.
- Maintain equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
Qualifications
- 🎓 RCS or RDCS, AE Certification required.
- 🩺 Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days.
- 🎓 Associate Degree or Certificate.
