As a Financial Service Specialist/Loan Officer, you will:
- Assist members with inquiries and resolve account discrepancies.
- Identify problems and escalate to supervisors and management.
- Open new accounts, CD’s, IRA’s, cross sell direct deposits, and online banking.
- Assist with processing wires, card disputes and notaries.
- Process consumer loans i.e., Automobile, Credit Cards, RVs, and Personal Loans.
- Recommend additional credit union products and services to members. It is our responsibility to educate members on all the great things Texell has to offer!
- Call assigned leads lists to solicit new business and lending needs.
- Give our members the WOW service they deserve and get paid well for doing a great job!
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous banking or credit union experience (highly preferred).
- Is sales driven and goal oriented.
- Can work lobby hours with rotating Saturdays.
- Possesses strong personal skills, having a good discussion goes a long way!
- Has the knack for speaking over the phone. Some people have it, some people don’t.
- The ability to manage emotions and be patient. If you’re patient, you will be successful!
