Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated NYS qualified School Psychologist to join our team. The School Psychologist will work within a preschool educational setting to support students' language , social-emotional development, and behavioral health. This position is throughout Franklin County which is in Tupper Lake, NY and Malone, NY. This is a contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments for special education eligibility and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, BCBA or related field
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and behavioral health principles
- Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques and child-family counseling
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse stakeholders
