Draper is looking for an experienced Subcontracts Manager with a strong background in Research and Development subcontract solicitation, analysis, creation, negotiation, award and post award responsibilities to join our team in Cambridge, MA.
THE POSITION
We’re looking for a full time Subontracts Manager with 10+ years of US Government and Commercial Subcontracting experience, deeply knowledgeable in the FAR and DFARS, that is adept at relationship building both internally and externally. As the Subcontracts Manager you will lead a team of Subcontracts professionals and direct all aspects of administration including: proposal solicitation and evaluation, negotiation (pricing and terms), flowdown preparation, commercial terms review and negotiation, award and post- award administration including scope management, and closeout. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or similar
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience leading and mentoring subcontracts teams
- Direct experience creating, negotiating and awarding Cost Reimbursement, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Time & Materials (T&M) and Firm Fixed Price Research and Development type subcontracts
- Direct experience creating subcontracts based on Prime Contract terms and conditions including agency unique terms and conditions
- Experience with New Business Capture and Proposal processes in a subcontracts management role
- In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS
- Experience interfacing with internal and external customers, suppliers and all levels of management
