Position Summary:
We seek a colleague with the potential or demonstrated ability to effectively teach Psychology courses at the college-level that center social justice and/or racial justice in the study of mental health, and a related research agenda that is clearly defined, shows promise, and can involve undergraduate student researchers. Areas of expertise might include, but are not limited to the study of race and racism, whiteness/white privilege, and/or anti-racism as they relate to Clinical or Counseling Psychology. We are also interested in candidates whose research and teaching will connect and integrate with other disciplines and who have the potential to collaboratively contribute to interdisciplinary curricular and scholarly efforts.

- Have a PhD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or a closely-related field. ABDs will be considered only if all requirements for their degree will be completed prior to the start date.
- Have the potential or demonstrated ability to effectively teach Psychology courses at the college-level that center social justice and/or racial justice in the study of mental health, and a related research agenda that is clearly defined, shows promise, and can involve undergraduate student researchers.
- Demonstrate cultural competency and ability to foster inclusive learning environments and mutual respect for students and colleagues.
- A research program that addresses race and racism, whiteness/white privilege, and/or anti-racism as they relate to Clinical or Counseling Psychology
