Role Summary:
We are actively interviewing for a full-time Psychologist to join our team in Sacramento, California. This role offers a unique opportunity to support individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs through expert psychological services, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and the development of impactful intervention plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Ensure that behavioral and psychological information is integrated into a multi-disciplinary report and prescriptive plan to support individuals in achieving self-sufficiency and maximizing their potential.
- Provide crisis intervention support in collaboration with county mental health agencies.
- Monitor psychotherapeutic services and ensure quality care for clients.
- Consult with case management, clinical teams, and community partners.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to plan and evaluate services.
- Train and mentor staff and community service providers.
Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Psychology and active California Psychologist License.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Experience conducting psychological evaluations and assessments, including competency evaluations.
- Training and/or experience in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) highly desired.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are welcome.
