Responsibilities
Handle billing/collection activities; check backup paperwork for accuracy and prepare invoices for submission.
Reconcile accounts by checking computer reports and researching discrepancies.
Prepare/send “reminder” letters for past-due accounts.
Mail invoices to vendors.
Call customers as necessary.
File paid invoices, check stub and backup paperwork.
Enter payment information into log; note partial payments.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the supervisor.
Complete safety training and certifications.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals.
Qualifications
- Hospitality oriented
- An associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and bookkeeping practices
- Demonstrated ability to follow both oral and written instructions, as well as prioritize and organize various tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to engage effectively with the public and team members
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fully bilingual (Spanish and English)
