JL Dobbs Inc is seeking an experienced CDL A Flatbed Driver to join our growing team. This is not an OTR position-our drivers enjoy the benefits of working locally while supporting the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have flatbed driving experience, a background in construction-related deliveries, and a strong focus on safety and professionalism.

Who We Are

Dobbs Crane Rentals is a local crane rental company that provides crane rentals, trucking, rigging, and storage services to New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Northern Maryland, and New York.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Operate flatbed trucks safely and efficiently to deliver construction materials and equipment.
• Secure loads using proper tie-down methods and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Deliver materials and equipment to job sites within the service area.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and job site supervisors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Assist in loading and unloading as required, ensuring all equipment and materials are handled with care.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and other required paperwork.
• Adhere to company and industry safety standards at all times.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Flatbed driving experience required, with knowledge of load securing and tie-down procedures.
• Previous construction-related delivery experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to operate manual transmissions and safely maneuver in tight spaces and on job sites.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including securing loads and assisting with deliveries.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• 2 years of flatbed driving experience required, with knowledge of load securing and tie-down procedures.
