Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair gas fireplaces in residential homes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with gas appliances, venting systems, and controls.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks to ensure code compliance.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs, maintenance needs, and operation of fireplaces.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Keep vehicle and tools organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Adhere to company and industry safety protocols at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and stay current with product knowledge.
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred in fireplace, HVAC, gas appliances, or related fields.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot gas systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
