Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and develop apprentices, fostering a culture of accountability and high quality performance.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems to meet or exceed National Electrical Code standards.
- Take ownership of projects, ensuring precision and adherence to Burkhead Electric's craftsmanship standards.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to maintain strong relationships and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in work areas, vehicles, and equipment.
- Stay current with industry best practices through training and certifications.
- Valid Iowa Journeyman Electrician license (required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical trade. (required)
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, tools, materials, and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 80 lbs., working overhead, ladder, confined spaces, standing/kneeling for extended periods).
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
