Job Overview

Triangle Plumbing & Heating is looking for a dependable and personable Part-Time Receptionist / Office Assistant to join our small but dedicated office team. This role supports our daily operations and ensures smooth communication and scheduling for our field crew. Working 2-3 days a week in our shop-based office, you'll help answer phones, coordinate appointments, and assist with light office tasks. Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and take accurate, professional messages
  • Create service tickets and schedule jobs by calling customers and coordinating appointments for our mechanics
  • Check and respond to company emails
  • Perform light accounting tasks
  • Assist with administrative duties such as copying, organizing files, and document prep
  • Look up job-related information to support field operations
  • Maintain clear and professional communication to ensure convenient appointment scheduling

Qualifications

  • Friendly and professional phone presence
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
  • Comfortable using email and navigating basic computer tools
  • Basic knowledge of QuickBooks or QuickBooks Online
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience in a small office or construction shop environment is a plus
