What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant Finance position at The Eye Care Group?
Our Administrative Assistant in Finance will assist with Accounts payable, general ledger and billing office functions. This role is integral for the smooth running of our Corporate Financial Office at The Eye Care Group in Waterbury, CT.
We require excellent knowledge of excel, Word, and you should have excellent keyboard skills of at least 55 WPM. Our Administrative Assistant will participate in supporting employee accounting, credit card reconciliations, physician and corporate expense reporting and patient refunds. You will be the Comptroller's right hand, and assist the COO in Monthly Quarterly and Annual reporting.
You should be a great "numbers person", and have a desire to learn and grow. You will need excellent knowledge of Qbooks, and have some experience in payroll and benefits, as well as medical billing in a medical office.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 5 years of Administrative Assistant Experience working in a Finance Department preferred
- MS Office Suite proficient(Outlook, Excel, Power Point)
- Must be able to multi task.
- Experience with supply ordering and filling requests day to day.
- Some knowledge of physician office routine
- Professional customer service skills required.
