Currently we have an opening for a Lab Technician located in Bridgewater, NJ. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
Under the supervision of a Chemist and/or manager, the Technician will be expected to perform the following functions with a high level of initiative and independence:
Testing of adhesives.
Evaluate, collect, and record data.
Participates in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results in a electronic laboratory notebook.
Uses a computer to enter data/information including charts and tables for communication of project results/details.
Involved in making adhesives from chemical ingredients.
Calibration and equipment maintenance.
Tests performance characteristics of substrates using established procedures.
Technical Information:
Pay rate is 24-30/hr based on experience, to start.
Hours are regular business hours, Monday-Friday.
Position is initially a 4-month contract, highly likely to extend or convert permanent.
