We are seeking a contract Attorney Editor to review and update practical guidance and templates for an online legal product for attorneys, and create new content, as needed. This is a contract position involving flexible hours (assignments can be completed as your schedule permits, as long as the deadline is met). This role is 100% remote in the state of Georgia.
Part-time, 5-15 hours/week

Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and revise practical guidance templates on family law documents. Review and update affidavits, agreements, and other related family law documents.
- Supplement existing documents with state-specific, “how-to” practical guidance based on state law, local custom, and legal practice experience.
- Law degree from an accredited law school
- Member, in good standing, of the Georgia State Bar
- 5 years of experience as a practicing family law attorney
- Substantive experience drafting affidavits, agreements, and other related family law documents.
- Excellent writing, editing, and legal research skills
- Comfortable working in Microsoft Word with track changes and conducting online research
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to complete assigned projects by prescribed deadlines
- Organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks effectively
- Interview process will consist of an interview and a writing assessment*
