We are seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist to join our Gastroenterology South division located in Oregon City. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for a candidate that is a self-starter, with a positive attitude, who can work independently, and has a customer-focused work ethic. Our clinic is expanding our Patient Services position into our Care Teams. This position will coordinate care for our patients working directly with our nurses and medical assistants on our four care teams. Tasks will include scheduling clinic services, working with lab and imaging orders, referrals, and sending instructions. The ideal candidate has at least 2 year of medical front office experience, is team-oriented and can multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Primary duties include scheduling, working with orders, making outbound phone calls, and other duties as assigned. Remote/Hybrid work available when training is completed, and expectations are met. Our hybrid rotation is 50%, one week onsite, one week at home.
Workdays will be Monday-Friday, (8:00 am-5:00 pm) or 4 ten-hour shifts with a day off - TBD (7:00am–5:30pm).
Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:
- Level I - $19.18- $25.96 per hour.
- Level II - $21.10 - $28.55 per hour.
- Level III - $23.21 - $31.41 per hour.
Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of previous medical front office experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with EMR preferred. EPIC experience is a plus!
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providers.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
