What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Assistant position at Thibodaux Regional Health System?
Responsible for registering all patients appropriately, obtaining blood and other specimens for the purpose of laboratory analysis.

Previous Experience:
1. One year of current phlebotomy experience preferred.
Other Special Training/Skills:

- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Graduate of a Phlebotomy program preferred.
Previous Experience:
1. One year of current phlebotomy experience preferred.
Other Special Training/Skills:
- Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required
- Must possess good interpersonal skills so that communication with patients puts them at ease.
