Description
Position Summary
- Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ensures that bar stations are maintained in a clean, neat and orderly fashion adhering to all safety and health regulations and standards.
- Ensures that Beverage stations are properly stocked and all products are fresh, rotated and properly stored.
- Responsible for carding guests who appears to be 35 years old or younger.
- Responsible for taking orders, preparing drinks according to Thunder Valley Standards and specifications.
- Responsible for processing transactions and secure payment using the Info Genesis System.
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Thunder Valley Casino's "Winning Attitude" Company-wide culture and demonstrating Thunder Valley Casino's 5-Star Service Standards at all times.
- Greet guests verbally with a warm welcome and introduce yourself.
- Ensure that all patrons are of legal drinking age and that they are not over served following procedures detailed in the TIPS training program.
- Take drink orders and offer specials by describing the method of preparation and price for each.
- Make other drink recommendations, up selling when possible.
- Prepare drinks to proper Thunder Valley standards and specifications.
- Process drink orders into Info Genesis System using procedures identified in the department manual and secure payment for applicable transactions.
- Ensure that beverage stations are properly stocked and that products are fresh and rotated.
- Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and adhered to at all times.
- Ensure that condiments are stocked, cut when needed and fresh.
- Ensure appropriate levels of glassware are available.
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly including glass washers, ice machines, blenders, POS system, liquor dispensing system and coolers.
- Follow established side work duties.
- Answer phones and provide information when needed.
Qualifications
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Must be certified in a California State approved alcohol awareness course.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to obtain / renew all required licenses or certification specifically Tribal Gaming License and RBS certification.
- Requires normal, corrected vision range, the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Requires bending and reaching for supplies and equipment.
- Requires the ability to communicate fluently in English.
- Team Members may be required to bend, lift, reach, push, pull, and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area.
