Position Summary
The VIP Driver is responsible for providing safe, comfortable, and professional transportation to VIPs of Thunder Valley Casino Resort. VIP Drivers will demonstrate excellent Guest Service at all times as defined within the guidelines of the AAA Four Diamond standards. VIP Drivers will be expected to provide transportation to and from various locations as determined by management. VIP Drivers will also transport Guests between property entrances and surrounding parking lots using company golf carts during periods of peak Guest volumes and special events. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. The hourly rate for this position is $16.00 /hr. plus tips. Additional Compensation rates while driving: Class C run will receive an additional $15.00/hr. A Class B run will receive an additional $25.00/hr.

Minimum Qualifications
Work is typically performed from a seated position driving a vehicle. Work will occasionally be conducted outdoors during periods of inclement weather. Work may be conducted in the casino, which may be hot, cold, noisy, and be in the presence of secondhand smoke. Tasks will be performed from a non-sitting position. Team Members may be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of an assigned area. Frequent contact with fellow Team Members and Guests is standard.

Essential Functions
- Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort's "ELITE" company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
- Pick up and drop off passengers at scheduled times as directed by management. Ensure that passengers are transported safely to their destinations.
- Transport Guests safely between property entrances and adjacent parking lots using company golf carts.
- Use knowledge of local area, GPS, and/or mapping applications to ensure the shortest and safest route to destination.
- Communicate effectively and clearly with Transportation Dispatch; seek guidance from dispatch for any situations that are out of the ordinary and prior to taking action when possible.
- Assist with Guest luggage when necessary.
- Assist ADA Guests with their special needs including, but not limited to assembling wheelchairs and scooters, helping with belongings, and assisting Guests in and out of vehicles.
- Inspect vehicles prior to and after each shift to ensure that the vehicle is safe and in working order.
- Ensure that the inside and outside of the vehicle is clean and ready for use prior to starting and at the conclusion of each trip.
- Complete a pre- and post-trip form per U.S. Department of Transportation regulations.
- Be thoroughly familiar with proper operation of vehicles.
- Be responsible for the safety and satisfaction of Guests.
- Operate the vehicle with full coherency and alertness at all times.
- Obey all driving traffic laws and regulations.
- Exhibit patience and a calm demeanor while driving in heavy traffic and adverse weather conditions, and display excellent Guest service skills at all times.
- Be knowledgeable with regard to directions and Thunder Valley Casino Resort's property information, and offer information and assistance to Guests.
- Be knowledgeable of all gaming and non-gaming offerings, events, and promotions at Thunder Valley Casino Resort.
- Act in a courteous manner toward Guests and fellow Team Members at all times.
- Lock vehicles after each run and when unattended. Vehicles will not be left unattended if passengers are on board.
- Maintain complete confidentiality at all times regarding conversations and occurrences with Guests and passengers.
Minimum Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience as a limousine driver, chauffeur, or related experience.
- Ability to operate a limousine safely.
- Excellent interpersonal and Guest service skills.
- Ability to present a neat and professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Driving record must not include serious moving violations, multi-moving violations, DUI, or suspended license. Must be insurable to drive company and Guest vehicles.
- Must be able to pass a random drug and alcohol test by a third-party company per DOT regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to communicate by telephone and radio.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged time periods.
- Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
