What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commissions Analyst position at Total Warranty Services?
The Senior Analyst is responsible for reviewing the analyst prepared files for the monthly billing statements, payment reports, data analysis of transactions entered in the contract management system, and reserve reconciliations. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be a self-starter, organized, and have great attention to detail with the ability to train and manage department deadlines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review analysts’ monthly analysis of contract data for accuracy to process for monthly financial close for area assigned
- Review dealer agreements and payee schedules to ensure appropriate calculation for client payments
- Review identified discrepancies from analysts to report and coordinate data fixes with operations team
- Review analyst prepared schedules for calculations of management money, agent commissions, and incentive monies
- Review analyst calculations for special program billing
- Review monthly reconciliations for contract reserves
- Manage and coordinate deadlines for team workload
- Train and guide analysts through policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively collaborate and provide concise communication with analysts, peers, managers, and other departments.
- Propose, establish, and implement new procedures/processes in a constantly changing and expanding environment
- Consistent follow-through, ability and flexibility to multi-task and effectively balance priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Special projects as assigned by immediate supervisor
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in supervisor role (direct reports or reviewing staff work product)
- Must have the ability to affect change in procedures to enhance productivity, streamline tasks and to properly analyze data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and always maintain confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
